About Locations

The Locations tool enables you to manage the locations and layouts that are available for Calendar events and seating charts in your courses.

The Locations tool is primarily managed at the organization level to allow a centralized place to create, edit, set active/inactive, add and remove layouts and delete locations.

A white box indicates and active seat, a gray box indicates an inactive seat.

At the course level, the Locations tool enables you to choose which locations to use in your course and customize a seating chart for it.

Note  To use the Seating Chart tool, you must first create a location with a layout.
